About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for cleaning draft lines at accounts and ensuring all draft line equipment is in proper working order. The role involves following specific cleaning procedures, maintaining equipment, interacting with customers, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety programs.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to fill out work orders and other correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively with groups of customers.
  • Ability to relate well with co-workers, supervisors, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to exhibit excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Ability to solve conflicts in the trade.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Current valid Florida Driver’s License that complies with insurance carrier’s guidelines for an acceptable, insured driver.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning draft lines at assigned accounts according to AB/Great Bay line cleaning procedures.
  • Flushing draught lines with proper solution.
  • Breaking down and cleaning faucets.
  • Replacing faucet washers.
  • Completing all assigned accounts on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
  • Completing draft line account information and tap surveys in all accounts daily.
  • Communicating with customers upon arrival to address problems and notifying draft technicians for major issues.
  • Ensuring all taps are in full operation.
  • Maintaining a stocked truck with necessary supplies and tools.
  • Monitoring A-B product rotation and reporting potential problems to the Team Leader.
  • Assisting draft technicians with other department issues or major installations.
  • Ensuring compliance with State Beverage regulations.
  • Adhering to and promoting Great Bay Distributors, Inc. safety program, including safe vehicle operation.
  • Following all Great Bay and AB-I policies.
  • Maintaining and accounting for all assigned company equipment.
  • Keeping the truck cab neat and clean and reporting mechanical issues to the fleet manager.
  • Servicing accounts every two weeks.
  • Responding to supervisors’ calls/emails in a timely manner.
  • Complying with all Equal Employment Opportunity rules and guidelines.
  • Appearing at work as scheduled, mindful of the company’s attendance policies.
  • Accepting direction from managers and supervisors.
  • Changing tavern heads/faucets as needed.
  • Completing minor repairs and contacting supervisors or Draft Techs for more assistance.
  • Completing all paperwork neatly and timely.
  • Attending all company-required meetings.
  • Following all vehicle accident procedures as outlined in policies.
  • Keeping the company-provided vehicle clean.
  • Following instructions.
  • Being adaptable to change, including daily schedule or route, working hours, and weekly schedule.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
