About The Position

The Dozer Operator operates or tends machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets, to excavate and load loose materials. Operates construction equipment, such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.

Requirements

Proven experience as a dozer operator
Experience in construction
Ability to operate the Dozer safely and efficiently
Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
Ability to work well with others
Good communication skills
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Responsibilities

Operate the Dozer to move earth, rocks, and other materials
Ensure that the equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
Work closely with other construction workers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Perform routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure that it is in good working condition
Communicate with the supervisor and other workers to ensure that the project is progressing as planned
