This role involves performing lab-scale downstream processing of vaccine adjuvant & Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) products and process intermediates, performing assays on these products and related samples using biochemical/analytical tests, preparing solutions/reagents, setting up process equipment for lab-scale experiments, and maintaining records and experimental results following good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years of industry experience or Masters in Engineering with 6+ years of industry experience or PhD in Engineering with 2+ years of industry experience.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skill
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Proven ability to work independently in hands-on laboratory setting

Nice To Haves

Experience with adjuvant and LNP process unit operations including Extrusion, Tee-mixing, Multi-Inlet-Vortex-Mixing (MIVM), Homogenization/Microfluidization, Filtration, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
Scale up experience related to liposome and LNP formation unit ops including, but not limited to, Extrusion, Teemixing, Microfluidization/Homogenization
Experience handling potent compound lipids (OEB4 & 5) and working in isolators and Ventilated Booth Enclosures (VBEs)
