About The Position

Responsible for supporting process development activities for downstream production processes, instruments and equipment. This role involves supporting all downstream process development activities including execution of experiments, compilation and analysis of data, and drafting of technical documents. The position also assists in the evaluation, development, and implementation of new downstream technologies to improve processes and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role supports the development of preliminary schedules, material/personnel/equipment requirements, and handles equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and general lab organization.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in biotechnology or related (or equivalent training) with 0-4 years experience or a M.S. degree with 0-2 years experience.
• Research Associate II requires a B.S. degree and 2+ years experience or a M.S. degree.
• Experience with downstream process development and chromatography equipment required.
• Excellent written and communication skills for customer service and ability to meet strict client deadlines.
• Flexibility of hours to support downstream processes.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of GMPs and biotechnology-derived product regulations preferred.
