About The Position

Gehl Foods is hiring a Downline Operator to operate production equipment to established standards. The role includes conducting quality checks according to Gehl Southeast SOPs, troubleshooting and adjusting equipment, communicating problem statements, maintaining a work area that meets GMP and 5S standards, hand-stacking cases from the conveyor when needed, and accurately documenting critical parameters. Thorough training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for more than eight hours, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Team-player mindset and ability to arrive on time and ready to work.

Nice To Haves

• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, Straw Applicator, Shrink, Wrapper, Mead, and Elevator to established standards.
• Conduct quality checks in accordance with Gehl Southeast SOPs.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment, and communicate problem statements effectively.
• Maintain a work area that complies with GMP and 5S standards.
• Hand-stack cases off the conveyor when necessary.
• Accurately document and maintain critical parameters.
