About The Position

Bellmont Cabinets is seeking a reliable Dowel Machine Operator to join its high-performing 1300 department. The role operates a dowel machine, feeding cabinet parts into it to drill holes and insert dowels according to job specifications. Working with the production team, the operator ensures parts are processed accurately and efficiently and meet quality standards before moving to the next production stage. The position offers training, advancement opportunities, and a collaborative environment focused on craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Ability to safely operate production machinery and equipment while following established safety procedures.
Comfort reading production schedules and job paperwork.
Familiarity with basic measurements and ability to use a tape measure accurately.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.

Nice To Haves

Prior machine operation experience, ideally in cabinetry, woodworking, or manufacturing.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operate dowel machinery to process cabinet components accurately and efficiently.
Inspect parts to ensure dowels and holes are properly placed before parts move to the next production stage.
