DoW Financial Management Director
About The Position
The DoW Financial Management Director supports Guidehouse’s Defense & Security Segment in delivery of DoW Financial Management contracts. This person will bring depth of experience and advise on a range of accounting, audit readiness, and overall financial improvement and transformation issues on existing engagements and new pursuits focused on Financial Management solutions within the Department of War. This role will be a combination of engagement delivery and new opportunity pursuit with a strong emphasis on technical thought leadership. The role will seek to find the intersections between various mission related needs of our clients and professional services.
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- FOURTEEN (14) or more years' relevant experience directly supporting the Department of War and other Federal Agencies
- Relevant existing relationships with DoW FM senior executives
- Strong communications acumen in support of client engagement and briefing client senior executives
- Experience translating policy and standards into programmatic actions and project delivery
- Knowledge of Defense/War FM missions and initiatives
Nice To Haves
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Advanced degree focused on accounting
- CPA, CDFM, CGFM, and/or other financial management focused certifications
Responsibilities
- Engaging with senior executives to analyze, understand, align, and deliver on business initiatives
- Leadership of teams to deliver innovative and technically sound solutions to clients in alignment with senior executive expectations
- Engage with internal and external partners to develop and implement collaborative environments in support of deliverables and innovative, strategic, technical financial management solution delivery
- Maintaining consistent, frequent on-site presence with clients to deliver and oversee engagements
