About The Position
A Doula provides support and care to a birthing person and their significant other during the prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. The role is with St. Joseph’s Health, whose staff provide clinical and professional services across a broad range of specialties at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Less than one year of work-related experience.
- Certificate of Doula Training.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and care to a birthing person and their significant other during the prenatal period.
- Provide support and care to a birthing person and their significant other during the intrapartum period.
- Provide support and care to a birthing person and their significant other during the postpartum period.
