About The Position

Adams is seeking a Seasonal Doughnut Maker to join their Bakery team. This role involves preparing fresh, high-quality doughnuts, maintaining a clean work area, assisting customers, and supporting sales floor operations. The ideal candidate will provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, reflecting Adams' commitment to quality products and service excellence. Team members are expected to greet customers personally, serve them with respect and kindness, and foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge on packaging and pricing to better help serve all customers
• Great communication between the Bakery Department and the doughnut counter
• Ability to demonstrate and set the example for Adams’ culture and values
• Ability to operate Adams’ point of sale systems
• Willingness to work collaboratively and communicate with a team of co-workers and managers
• Exhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams’ products and quality
• Safely operate donut fryer
• Great communication with the Bakery department using a Walkie Talkie; when necessary
• Work in a productive pace; per department needs during busy times of the day
• Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift
• Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift
• Communicate with others to exchange information
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks including in tight and confined spaces
• Exposure to outdoor weather temperatures

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, polite, and knowledgeable customer service at all times.
• Set up and break down the donut fryer daily.
• Fry and package fresh donuts for sale.
• Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions.
• Maintain sales floor tables by stocking and rotating products (if assigned).
• Assist customers at Full-Service Cases with product selection (if assigned).
• Take and process custom orders from customers (if assigned).
