About The Position

Ian's Pizza is immediately hiring a part-time Dough and Cheese Prep Cook to help make their legendary pizza dough. This role involves measuring, mixing, weighing, and preparing dough, as well as shredding and preparing cheese. The prep cook will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked prep area. Additionally, the role includes transporting dough to another Ian's Pizza location using a company van and returning with empty dough trays.

Requirements

Able to stand/walk for long periods.
Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and carry 50lbs up and down stairs.
Comfortable using industrial kitchen equipment, sharp knives, and other equipment of the business.
Must be 18+ for prep cook position.
Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).
Must hold a valid driver's license and have a clean, or near clean, driving record.
Willingness to learn and put in the effort.

Responsibilities

Measuring, mixing, weighing, and preparing dough using a dough mixer and dough rounder.
Shredding and preparing cheese.
Keeping the prep area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Loading up and transporting dough to the Ian's Pizza on Juneau Ave using the company van.
Bringing empty dough trays back to Story Hill.
