The incumbent applies knowledge of DOTD operations in the management and upkeep of a DOTD district’s asset data within the MMS program. Job duties will include specific analysis to prepare correspondence, documentation, and reports on the status and upkeep of asset records. The incumbent will work with various other district and section personnel to collect and receive information for updating asset records. The incumbent may review engineering plan sets and analyze data from the HQ Construction section, project engineer groups, Agile reports, and contracted maintenance activities in order to determine what asset data must be added or updated. While in official capacity, DOTD employees must comply with applicable Louisiana and Civil Services laws, rules and regulations, as well as DOTD policies, procedures, manuals, and directives.
