About The Position

TDP Bakery is hiring a full-time DOT Route Driver (Non-CDL) for its Chattanooga team. The driver transports fresh-baked doughnuts from the bakery to regional distribution centers, ensuring products arrive safely and on time. This DOT-regulated position requires a valid DOT Medical Card and experience driving a 24-foot or larger box truck; a CDL is not required. The company provides the truck, equipment, and training. The role typically starts at 12:30 PM, with end times varying. Days and hours may vary with operational needs, and drivers must be available any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
At least two years of experience driving a 24-foot or larger box truck.
At least one year of delivery driver experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements; a CDL is not required.
Current 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required at the time of interview.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Availability to begin work at 12:30 PM; end times may vary.
Basic spoken and written English proficiency.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana.
Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 24-foot or larger box truck in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
Load, organize, and secure products for transportation.
Deliver fresh-baked products to regional distribution centers accurately and on schedule.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and handle products with care.
Communicate professionally with team members and distribution center personnel.
