Dosimetrist- Radiation Oncology-Full Time At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, our Radiation Oncology Department offers a comprehensive suite of cancer services in a comfortable environment, conveniently located for residents of Queens. We are currently seeking a skilled dosimetrist to join our expanding department. In this role, you will work in a patient-focused, high-tech setting with cutting-edge technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or Physics
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Dosimetry Program
- CMD certified or CMD eligible (must obtain certification within 2 years of hire date)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Eclipse, RadFormation, Mosaiq, ARIA, and Velocity software
- Working knowledge of radiation treatment planning and dosimetry principles, including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS planning
Responsibilities
- Participating in the planning of patient treatments using the Eclipse planning system
- Performing image fusion with Velocity
- Conducting related planning reviews
- Completing dosimetry calculations
