Part-Time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist
About The Position
Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and comfortable for residents. This role involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from doorsteps and taking it to the on-site compactor. Specialists will service one or more nearby apartment communities within the same local area, with no long-distance driving or off-site dumping. Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Smartphone with a data plan to use our work app
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
- Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
- Ability to work around bagged trash and waste
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Reliable transportation: Open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with trailer preferred
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance preferred
Responsibilities
- Collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling from apartment doorsteps
- Take collected items to the on-site compactor
- Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area
- Stay active by walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors during your shift
- Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed
