About The Position

The Door Staff is the first point of contact our guests encounter when entering our establishment. We expect exceptional, friendly service, along with a strong work ethic. Work with us to make great money, have fun, and be part of an awesome team! Igby's offers a unique craft cocktail menu, as well as an extensive beer and wine selection. Guests of Igby's are greeted with a cordial ambiance accented by wood-planked walls. The Igby’s atrium features balconies around each level so that patrons can look up or down onto the other floors. Igby’s also has two outdoor patios: one with plush seating in an urban alley and one on the second floor that allows for people watching all the action happening along Sixth Street. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Well-spoken individual with ability to effectively interact with guests and staff
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Be a good teammate
• Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly way and check IDs as they enter the establishment
• Maintain lines and crowd control
• Enforce rules to keep the location fun and safe, and remove guests if needed
• Clean and remove trash throughout bar, including patios and restrooms
• Assist in private parties as needed, including setup, tear down, cleaning, and assisting guests with their belongings to their cars
