About The Position

84 Lumber is hiring a Door Shop/Warehouse Associate for its Bakersfield, California location. The associate builds loads for delivery, operates saws, and contributes to door manufacturing. The role also involves maintaining a safe, clean, and organized lumber yard; loading and unloading lumber or building supplies; and operating a forklift. Other duties may be assigned. The position pays $17.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience, and is scheduled for 48 hours per week. Overtime is paid at time and a half. Full benefits are included.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries.
• Operate saws.
• Contribute to door manufacturing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
• Load and unload lumber and/or building supplies.
• Operate a forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
