About The Position

The Door Manufacturer is a full-time production and warehouse associate who assembles pre-hung doors on a production line. The role also involves maintaining assembly-line equipment, preparing wood materials, operating a forklift, handling production materials, monitoring quality, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and communicate information effectively one-on-one.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding, carry out simple one- or two-step instructions, and handle standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work on a pre-hanging door assembly line.
• Routinely maintain equipment on the warehouse assembly line.
• Operate machinery and use power saws, air nail guns, staplers, and other tools to prepare wood for door assembly.
• Complete forklift training and certification and operate a forklift.
• Load, unload, store, and package production materials as needed.
• Monitor quality assurance throughout production.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow posted warehouse safety rules.
