About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the property in a clean and sanitary condition, ensuring the safety and security of guests, and serving as a concierge. The Door Host will also maintain knowledge of relevant laws, internal policies, local events, and menu items. They will act as a liaison with law enforcement and fire departments, prepare nightly reports, and ensure the venue is set up and closed properly each night.

Responsibilities

Maintain the property in a clean and sanitary condition at all times
Maintain the safety and security of guests at all times
Maintains a working knowledge of ABC laws and regulations
Maintains an intimate knowledge of legal identification documents
Maintain an intimate knowledge of all internal policies and procedures.
Serves as concierge for all guests (including a working knowledge of happenings, events and interesting places around the area)
Maintain an intimate knowledge of upcoming in-house events and future music events
Maintain a working knowledge of menu items, daily specials, events, concerts and all house brews.
Serve as a liaison between the venue and local law enforcement and SLOFD.
To confer nightly with the shift leads and present nightly reports
Reports and documents any incidents that have occurred on a nightly basis
Make sure that the venue is set up according to specific needs on a nightly basis and opened on time
Responsible for all closing procedures at the close of the night.
