About The Position

The primary function of the Project Manager is to oversee administrative and sales support. This role requires outstanding organizational skills along with the ability to multitask. This person should be a self-motivated individual, be able to represent GMS in a professional and competent manner at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Conduct basic analysis on business topics, project data/statistics and progress, systems impacts and other key challenges

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day office responsibilities, including invoicing, filing, scanning & copying documents
  • Respond to and manage telephone calls and email requests
  • Manage sales orders, requests for quotes from vendors, and general customer inquiries
  • Provide project support by working with customers, placing stock purchase orders, and assisting with project estimates
  • Develop product knowledge and build relationships with customers
  • Monitor, track and report on project budget and status, including estimated project cost, project actuals and project forecasts; compare and communicate current budget status against projections
