Requirements

  • Knowledge - Software Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • AutoCAD, HyCAD, Inventor, Pro-E, (Demo 3D a plus)

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 2 years of manufacturing and or industry experience desired
  • Able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and application understanding
  • Experience with analyzing job results and planning workflow
  • Experience with maintaining production schedules, on multiple and simultaneous projects

Responsibilities

  • Manages the after sale process
  • Documents the order details such as terms, purchase order, and sales order information into Infor
  • Prepares and distributes the order acknowledgement information to impacted departments to update the production schedule
  • Processes the Engineering Change Orders based on customer requests and confirms completion prior to assembly
  • Provides status updates and communicates changes during the weekly Palletizer Master Schedule meeting and ensure project milestone dates are current in the CRM.
  • Observes project status daily on the assembly floor to ensure that project milestones are met
  • Manage projects including buyout content and may include some job site supervision
  • Prepares sales documentation
  • Utilizes knowledge of palletizing and systems related equipment and sales information to develop customer solutions
  • Prepares accurate sales orders, supply agreements and assists with quotes using project checklists to ensure quality
  • Designs equipment layouts and provides technical advice for system applications; sends drawings to customer for approval
  • Services customer accounts
  • Serves as the Ultimate Customer Advocate by ensuring that unresolved issues are visible and resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintains and expands our relationship with major accounts; may include up to 10% travel to support sales and service efforts at times
  • Facilitates the Factory Acceptance Test
  • Arranges for delivery of test product from the customer prior to the FAT visit
  • Coordinates customer visit schedule and hosts customer representatives for onsite visit
  • Explains equipment operability, features, and answers questions during the testing
  • Includes vendor interfacing at vendors site when required
  • Utilizes CRM to manage customer relationships
  • Maintains accurate and up to date customer data and opportunities; actively collects and adds market information to CRM
  • Analyzes future applicability of complaint resolution information
  • Maintains target margin
  • Formally evaluates gross margins prior to sending quote for change orders to customer
  • Improves profit margins by leading efforts to standardize equipment designs necessary to minimize engineering hours required to release equipment to manufacturing
  • Maximizes the probability of success within each phase of projects (engineering, production, and installation) by quoting existing solutions when possible
  • Recommends changes in products & services
  • Evaluates project results, customer feedback and competitive developments from the field and communicated research and development opportunities to the Palletizer team
  • Collaborates with peers to develop customized solutions based on customer requests
  • Supports internal and external customer service
  • Understands and documents internal and external customer needs and expectations
  • Communicates to appropriate team(s) when an expectation will not be met
  • Contributes to continuous improvement effort
  • Documents processes and procedures, eliminates non-value added activities, and participates in cross functional CI teams
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
  • Establishes personal networks, participates in professional societies, attends professional workshops and reviews publications
  • Contributes to team effort
  • Willing to attempt new assignments or fill in for others as needed; accomplishes other duties as assigned
