About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the proper preparation of icings according to formula and scheduled standards. The position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality. The operator will align product properly as needed, monitor the icing roller or T bar to ensure proper product coverage, and maintain cleanliness of the work area. This role also involves practicing and complying with all Company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules, and performing other duties as directed by supervision. Recording icing mix confirmations in SAP is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Minimum of three months experience working in an industrial food manufacturing facility required.
Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job, safety, and production standards.
Must be able to communicate clearly and distinctly in English in person or via telephone and on paging device.
Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, climbing, and twisting.
Ability to exert force necessary to move equipment and icing troughs (weighing up to 900 lbs.) from mixer area to wash pit (distance of 50+ feet).
Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and a maximum of 16 hours on a daily basis.
Hearing, vision and smell sufficient to detect malfunctions in all production equipment, evaluate product size, shape, color, appearance, position, and set gauges, dials, rulers, guides, etc.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in an industrial food manufacturing facility, preferably in donut production.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
One or more years experience preferred.
