Requirements
- Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations
- Proven problem-solving abilities and confidence making real-time decisions
- High level of attention to detail, especially when reviewing complex or technical information
- Ability to stay organized, focused, and adaptable while managing multiple priorities
Nice To Haves
- Background or experience in social work, counseling, healthcare, medical support, chaplaincy or insurance/claims processing is highly valued and often leads to success in this role
Responsibilities
- Communicate with donor families with compassion, professionalism, and clarity during sensitive moments
- Review and analyze medical records and donor information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, funeral homes, and internal staff to coordinate next steps efficiently
- Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to determine donor eligibility based on medical criteria
- Manage multiple priorities at once while maintaining composure in a time-sensitive environment
