About The Position

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international organization that provides medical care to the people who need it most. The organization cares for people affected by conflict, disease outbreaks, disasters, and social exclusion in more than 70 countries. The Donor Services Associate for the Partner Program Liaison serves as one of the primary points of contact for our donors, helping answer their questions, solve their problems, and facilitate their donations as well as participates in the development of messages for donors about MSF’s programs and policies. Donor Services Associate provides high-quality customer service both on the phone and through e-mail all year round.

Requirements

  • Minimum. 2 yrs. relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit development or marketing environment, preferably in a customer service and/or non-profit environment, plus B.A., or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
  • Proven administrative skills including keen attention to detail with ability to track multiple projects at one time.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls, emails, and mail inquiries to allocated donors and prospective donors to maintain and strengthen existing relationships. Act as a first point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints.
  • Manage basic aspects of the data management system with guidance from senior colleagues. This includes being responsible for developing or operating basic elements of the data management systems to deliver prescribed outcomes.
  • Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization and contribute to the management of the partnering relationship, delivering high-quality professional services within established routines or as part of an agreed project.
  • Produce, update and provide best practice support on a wide range of MS documents, databases and other departmental systems to support the work of more senior colleagues.
