The Donor Retention Specialist (Temporary) works closely with the Chief Development Officer and Development Team to strengthen donor loyalty, reduce donor lapse, and support long-term giving through consistent, meaningful donor communication and follow-up. This role is focused on retention—helping donors remain connected to the Mission’s impact through excellent gratitude, thoughtful engagement, and clear pathways to continue partnering. This position supports donor retention strategy through donor outreach, lapsed donor re-engagement, recurring and monthly donor care, and coordination of donor experience improvements across systems, messaging, and campaign follow-ups. The goal is to build trust, increase donor confidence, and ensure donors feel valued, informed, and connected beyond the ask. Temporary assignment (based on organizational need).
