About The Position
ImpactLife, a 501c (3) Non-Profit Organization, is seeking a Donor Relations Intern from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. This internship offers an opportunity to gain on-the-job experience and contribute to the community by promoting the importance of blood donations on campus and in the region. Interns will gain exposure to various areas including Marketing, Public Relations, and Public Health, learning the full scope of blood banking operations from donor recruitment to the delivery of blood products to hospital partners. This role is ideal for students passionate about making a difference and developing their professional skills.
Requirements
- Be a student at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.
- Be a friendly, outgoing person.
- Interested in developing your business and communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking to and interacting with the public.
- Complete a required pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities
- Promote the importance of blood donations on campus and in the region.
- Gain experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Public Health, and other areas of blood banking.
- Learn about donor recruitment and the delivery of blood products to hospital partners.
- Serve as part of the team fulfilling the mission of saving lives through blood donations.
