About The Position

The UPMC Pinnacle Foundation is looking for a new Donor Relations/Database Coord to support the operations team. The ideal applicant for this position should have sufficient administrative/technical skills and be comfortable interfacing with internal and external stakeholders. This position is expected to occasionally travel within the Central PA region to support events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Two years of experience with either fundraising or customer service.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, mail merges, email, web searches and Raisers Edge preferred.
  • Skilled at basic fundraising knowledge, critical thinking skills, customer service and strong organizing and planning skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Work independently with little supervision, maintain confidentiality and sensitivity of donor and prospect information.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Learn new programs and databases such as Blackbaud, prospecting software, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Work with VP to shape metrics used to measure pipeline growth and performance
  • Manage the daily wealth screening results of patient admissions for any major prospects as well as monitoring when major donors are admitted.
  • Coordinates a plan with MGO's and/or VP of Development for personal visits to those individuals while in hospital and follow-up after discharge.
  • Assist with donation processing and payroll as needed.
  • Maintain RE including Moves Management & Action Tracks.
  • Generates reports on fundraising initiatives to ensure consistent data collection that reflects relationship activity, stages and engagement.
  • Assist with coordination and presentations of the employee giving program.
  • Ensures current and accurate data elements are contained in donor records.
  • Oversees the donor acknowledgement process.
  • Generate basic donor list and reports to support direct response campaigns, major gifts portfolios, and stewardship efforts.
  • Provide logistical support for stewardship, annual giving, and donor communications as part of broader development initiatives.
