About The Position

The Donor Recruitment Specialist plays a critical role in supporting CCBC’s collection targets by securing donor appointments through strategic outbound and inbound calling. This role focuses on building long-term donor relationships, aligning communication with campaign goals, and consistently meeting daily call volume and appointment-setting targets.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED, required
One year of working in a customer service position, required
Ability to convey and receive verbal and written information in a clear manner
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment to achieve goals
Self-directed, goal-oriented, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

Communicate daily with the Donor Recruitment Manager to review product needs and prioritize outreach strategies
Conduct high-volume outbound calling to current, lapsed, and prospective donors for whole blood, platelets, plasma, and double red cell donations
Schedule donor appointments that support daily and weekly mobile and fixed-site collection goals
Deliver mission-aligned, persuasive messaging to donors, emphasizing the importance of donation, different donation types, and local patient impact
Respond promptly and professionally to inbound donor inquiries
Log all donor interactions accurately using current scheduling tools
Maintain donor confidentiality and comply with privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards
Report recurring donor feedback, objections, or questions to the supervisor for campaign and training improvement
Collaborate with team members to optimize shift coverage and achieve department-wide performance targets
Demonstrates alignment with and adherence to the company’s core values in all interactions, decisions, and work activities; serves as a role model for fostering a positive, respectful, and ethical workplace culture
