About The Position

Food Lifeline partners with hundreds of food banks, meal programs, schools, and community organizations to provide nutritious food and address the root causes of hunger. They are seeking a relationship-focused, people-oriented fundraising professional to join their Giving Team as a Donor Engagement Officer. In this role, the individual will build meaningful relationships with a portfolio of approximately 150–200 individual donors and prospects, primarily those giving between $1,000 and $9,999 annually. Through personal outreach, thoughtful stewardship, meaningful conversations, and compelling opportunities to give, the Donor Engagement Officer will help donors deepen their connection to Food Lifeline's mission and grow their impact over time. Working collaboratively with the Director of Development and colleagues across fundraising, marketing and communications, programs, and other areas of the organization, this role will help strengthen donor engagement and identify supporters with the interest and capacity to deepen their investment in Food Lifeline. This role will play an important part in building a strong pipeline for future major giving while contributing to the organization's overall philanthropic revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Relationship-focused, people-oriented fundraising professional.

  • Ability to conduct personal outreach, thoughtful stewardship, and meaningful conversations.
  • Experience identifying supporters with the interest and capacity to deepen their investment.

Responsibilities
