Requirements

  • Associates degree in Communication, Social Services, Youth Development, Education, business, or related field.
  • One to two (1-2) years of experience in administrative, donor relations, or non-profit development settings.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Must have a current and valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Dependability.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor degree in Communication, Social Services, Youth Development, Education, business, or related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four (4) years of experience in youth development management.
  • May be requested to obtain a Class "B" driver's license with passenger endorsement.
  • Prefers hands-on work.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining donor relationships, fundraising events, and tracking event sponsorships.
  • Involves project management, collaboration with community agencies, maintaining accurate records in the donor database, and generating reports.
  • Managing development projects, such as fundraising events or campaigns to include planning, coordinating, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring work and project progress.
  • Maintain active communication with donors.
  • Assist in administrative and operational support for general projects assigned by leadership.
  • Aid and support to all divisions within the department as needed.
