Requirements

Associates degree in Communication, Social Services, Youth Development, Education, business, or related field.
One to two (1-2) years of experience in administrative, donor relations, or non-profit development settings.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Must have a current and valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attentive to detail.
Dependability.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor degree in Communication, Social Services, Youth Development, Education, business, or related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four (4) years of experience in youth development management.
May be requested to obtain a Class "B" driver's license with passenger endorsement.
Prefers hands-on work.
Enjoy working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining donor relationships, fundraising events, and tracking event sponsorships.
Involves project management, collaboration with community agencies, maintaining accurate records in the donor database, and generating reports.
Managing development projects, such as fundraising events or campaigns to include planning, coordinating, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring work and project progress.
Maintain active communication with donors.
Assist in administrative and operational support for general projects assigned by leadership.
Aid and support to all divisions within the department as needed.
