Join Shepeard Community Blood Center as our Donor Contact Representative Coordinator and play a vital role in helping save lives in our community. In this influential role, you’ll lead a team of donor contact representatives, guiding them with strategy, encouragement, and the tools they need to achieve—and exceed—donor recruitment goals. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in tele‑recruitment or call center leadership preferred.
  • Strong people‑leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Confidence in leading a team with diverse personalities and communication styles.
  • Commitment to creating a positive customer service experience.
  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, bending, and twisting.
  • Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work for extended periods sitting in a call‑center style environment.
  • All applicants selected for hire must undergo a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and support donor contact representatives in meeting recruitment targets.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and solutions.
  • Build and maintain teamwork schedules.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and mission‑focused work environment.
  • Achieve established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor team and individual KPIs, providing timely coaching and feedback.
  • Review daily performance reports and develop improvement plans as needed.
  • Train newly hired representatives to ensure confidence and success.
  • Provide ongoing development opportunities for the team.
  • Stay current on industry trends and incorporate best practices into training.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Community Resources to execute effective tele‑recruitment strategies.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for operational and recruitment optimization.
  • Assign call lists, shifts, and donor outreach coverage.
  • Monitor calls to ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide feedback that supports continuous quality improvement.
  • Oversee IQE documentation, duplicate donor paperwork, and donor change form processes.
  • Work with other departments on special collections recruitment needs.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance on SOP variances and documentation.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork and shared purpose.
  • Take the lead in recruiting platelet donors and supporting apheresis donor scheduling.
  • Support engagement through third‑party platforms.
  • Perform all responsibilities of a Donor Contact Representative when needed.
