About The Position

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular part-time Donor Centre Representative to join our dynamic Collections team in our ON-Ottawa-Carling Ave donor centre. The Donor Centre team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by collecting donor blood in a safe manner to enable safe products which save lives every day. In this role, you will be providing excellent customer service by greeting donors, confirming appointments, rebooking donors at events, and serving potential donors.

Requirements

• Completion of high school
• Technical skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Ability to learn new systems and programs
• Ability to lift weights up to 10 kg (22 lbs.)

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a hospitality or customer service-oriented environment
• Previous experience working with volunteers
• A second language
