About The Position

Are you looking to make a difference in your community? LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and goal-driven, individual to join the team as a Donor Care Specialist in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for receiving and handling donor-related issues and questions, including but not limited to inbound communication from donors via email, text and phones, and donor recognition. Weekend availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Valid driver’s License required. Must meet and maintain LifeSouth’s driver eligibility requirements
• Basic computer skills and experience with computer programs such MS office
• Strong Customer Services and active listening skills

Responsibilities

• Assist donors with issues related to eligibility, customer service, donation experience, donor portal, website, donor store, appointment scheduling, recognition items, etc.
• Screen inbound communication and connect with appropriate departments
• Respond to all inbound communication to provide point of contact for LifeSouth donors.
• Contact first time donors post donation to answer questions and schedule future appointments.
• Handle urgent donor communication about drive/hours changes after hours
• Coordinate donor milestone recognition, including list generating, printing, and mailing
• Some travel maybe a requirement for the job
• Attendance is a requirement for the job
• Must have consistent and reliable transportation
