About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking motivated, fast-paced individuals to fill Part-Time and Full-Time Retail Donation Attendant positions at their Oxford store. This role involves providing excellent customer service to donors, assisting with donations in a friendly, professional, and safe manner, and handling customer/donor concerns. Responsibilities also include accurately recording donors and donations, assisting with janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness, and maintaining standard backroom layout and orderliness for efficiency.

Requirements

Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts as assigned.
Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.
Ability to reach, bend or stoop.
Ability to stand six to eight hours a day.
Reliable means of transportation to report to work on time.
Ability to learn and utilize safe lifting techniques.
Familiarity with a pallet jack.
Ability to work in cold or warm temperatures, depending on weather and donation traffic.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to donors, assisting them with donations in a friendly, professional, and safe manner.
Assist with customer/donor concerns, handling them professionally.
Record all donors and donations accurately on the Donation Tracking form; record all gaylords/items accurately on the Bill of Lading.
Assist with janitorial duties, maintaining the cleanliness in the backroom and on the sales floor.
Maintain standard back room layout and orderliness to ensure efficiency.
