About The Position

This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence global public health by engaging with key stakeholders and driving the acquisition of critical scientific contributions. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners across multiple regions to ensure timely and high-quality donation submissions, enabling the development and maintenance of essential standards. This position requires a proactive, relationship-oriented professional with strong analytical and communication skills. You will manage accounts, coordinate complex projects, and deliver measurable outcomes while working in a fast-paced, globally connected environment. Travel of up to 50% is expected, providing opportunities to engage directly with stakeholders both domestically and internationally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, life sciences, or a related field; business degree a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or specialty chemical industries, with knowledge of analytical testing or compendial standards
  • 3+ years of account management experience with customer-facing engagements
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for virtual and in-person interactions
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau) is preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel 40–60% of the time, domestically and internationally
  • Results-driven, customer-centric, and adept at problem-solving in complex, dynamic settings

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute donation-focused account strategies, aligning internal and external stakeholders to maximize impact
  • Lead acquisition of key materials and information, particularly in North America and Europe, to support standards development
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers across target accounts, including C-suite, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and R&D departments
  • Educate and guide donors on standards and compendial processes, ensuring efficient and accurate submission of required data
  • Track and report progress against goals, maintaining accurate account information and documenting engagements in CRM systems
  • Support donor events, workshops, and presentations to promote contributions and strengthen collaborative relationships
  • Collaborate internally to leverage scientific, operational, and educational resources for effective stakeholder engagement
