About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Central Engagement Manager in the United States. In this role, you will lead client engagements focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring successful implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and project teams, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes. This position involves guiding clients through process transformation, system configuration, and data migration, while fostering strong executive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with functional and technical consultants to drive project success across multiple industries. Ideal candidates bring a combination of ERP expertise, leadership skills, and a consultative approach to client service. This role offers the opportunity to influence solutions, improve business processes, and deliver measurable client impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading ERP or D365 Business Central/NAV projects
  • Strong project management and client engagement experience, including multi-phase or complex ERP projects
  • Proficiency in Business Central core modules: Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, Projects, and Warehousing
  • Familiarity with project delivery methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to travel 10–20% if required

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications (e.g., Functional Consultant MB-800), PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or experience with related Microsoft technologies (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot)
  • Industry-specific ERP experience in manufacturing, distribution, service management, or retail is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the engagement lifecycle, building strong executive relationships
  • Lead project management for strategic or complex D365 Business Central engagements, including scheduling, resource planning, and budget oversight
  • Facilitate requirement workshops, status meetings, and executive updates, including quarterly business reviews
  • Oversee project deliverables, such as process documentation, configuration decisions, data migration plans, and testing strategies
  • Ensure project teams follow structured methodologies and Microsoft best practices
  • Monitor engagement risks, implement mitigation strategies, and identify opportunities for account expansion
  • Support proposal development, engagement scoping, and statement-of-work execution
  • Provide thought leadership and educate clients on Business Central capabilities and roadmap updates
