About The Position

This is an entry-level position with a starting pay from $16/hr based on experience. The role involves accepting donations, presorting, and handling the receiving process with respect and care. Team members will greet donors, assist with unloading, share the KARM Stores story, confirm details, and issue receipts. The position requires the ability to produce quick and accurate work in a fast-paced environment and to live out the company's Mission and Core Values.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to write in legible, clear handwriting.
• Must have a commitment to KARM Stores’ mission and mission statement.
• Computer skills to include general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
• Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds is essential for job performance.

Responsibilities

• Accepting donations and presorting.
• Handling the receiving and donation process with the utmost respect and care.
• Greeting the donor.
• Assisting in unloading donations.
• Telling the KARM Stores story.
• Repeating details back to the donor.
• Issuing a receipt.
• Assisting the team by living out our Mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide.
• Carrying out our Core Values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.
