About The Position

This is a full-time position at a large, fast-paced, high-donation store. The Donation Receiver is responsible for accepting and presorting donations, handling the receiving process with respect and care, greeting donors, assisting with unloading, sharing the KARM Stores story, and issuing receipts. The role requires the ability to produce quick and accurate work in a fast-paced environment and to live out the company's Mission and Core Values.

Requirements

Ability to write in legible, clear handwriting.
Commitment to KARM Stores’ mission and mission statement.
Computer skills including general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
Ability to stand up to 100% of a standard work day.
Ability to lift and bend up to 75% of a standard work day.
Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical activity, which may include frequent strenuous activity.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

Perform daily job duties within the processing team and department, including accepting donations and presorting.
Handle the receiving and donation process with respect and care, including greeting donors, assisting in unloading donations, telling the KARM Stores story, repeating details back to the donor, and issuing a receipt.
Assist the team by living out the company's Mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide and carrying out Core Values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.
