Lifeline of Ohio coordinates and promotes organ, eye, and tissue donation across Ohio. We’re seeking a Donation Program Coordinator (DPC) to serve as a strategic partner to our donor hospitals—strengthening relationships, improving processes, and advancing a culture of donation at every level of hospital leadership. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who thrives in relationship-driven, data-informed, high-impact work and is energized by influencing change in complex hospital environments. You might be a great fit if you: Have successfully navigated hospital politics, priorities, and personalities to move work forward. Know how to “read the room” and adjust your approach in real time. Stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions when things aren’t clear-cut. Prefer meaningful, in-person partnership over transactional check-ins. Are motivated by mission—but grounded in execution. What You’ll Do As a Donation Program Coordinator, you’ll serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned donor hospitals, working closely with executives, physicians, nurses, and quality leaders to improve donation performance and remove barriers to success. You will: Build and sustain trusted partnerships with hospital executive and clinical leaders to advance donation priorities. Assess hospital donation practices using performance data, observation, and stakeholder input to identify improvement opportunities. Analyze and present hospital-specific donation metrics, translating data into actionable strategies. Lead collaborative process improvement efforts aligned with both Lifeline’s strategic goals and hospital priorities. Maintain a consistent on-site presence to support education, relationship-building, and organizational awareness. Anticipate and respond to changes in hospital operations, staffing, and regulatory requirements that impact donation. Serve as the subject matter expert for donation processes, providing real-time guidance and issue resolution. Collaborate across Lifeline departments to ensure seamless, high-quality support for hospital partners. Ensure timely and effective follow-up on referrals in accordance with Lifeline standards. This role is not for someone seeking a desk-based or highly scripted position. What Success Looks Like In this role, success means: Hospital partners view you as a trusted advisor , not just a resource. Donation opportunities are maximized through strong processes and proactive collaboration. Hospital leaders understand donation performance and are engaged in continuous improvement. Challenges are addressed quickly, thoughtfully, and with sound judgment.
