Donation Program Coordinator - Hospital Development

Lifeline of OhioColumbus, OH
Onsite

About The Position

Lifeline of Ohio coordinates and promotes organ, eye, and tissue donation across Ohio. We’re seeking a Donation Program Coordinator (DPC) to serve as a strategic partner to our donor hospitals—strengthening relationships, improving processes, and advancing a culture of donation at every level of hospital leadership. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who thrives in relationship-driven, data-informed, high-impact work and is energized by influencing change in complex hospital environments. You might be a great fit if you: Have successfully navigated hospital politics, priorities, and personalities to move work forward. Know how to “read the room” and adjust your approach in real time. Stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions when things aren’t clear-cut. Prefer meaningful, in-person partnership over transactional check-ins. Are motivated by mission—but grounded in execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, public health, or related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, hospital operations, quality improvement, relationship management, consulting, or organ procurement.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence with senior leaders and clinical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Comfort interpreting data and leading performance-driven conversations.
  • Excellent judgment, situational awareness, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Organized, self-directed, and able to prioritize competing demands.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for mission-driven work.
