About The Position

Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a full-time Donation Center Attendant. Ideal candidates will be energetic, flexible, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Summary: Responsible for receiving all donated items from contributors at Donation/Recycle Center. Responsible for sorting all donations into proper categories. Assist customers in the disposal of recyclable materials.

Responsibilities

Receive donations: greet donors, accept and unload donated materials, and thank donors for their donated items.
Ensure that all donated goods received, inspected, sorted and placed into holding bins.
Assist customers in the disposal of recycled materials.
Cleaning duties (including but not limited to) donation center inside and outside area are clean and safe.
Customer service activities (including but not limited to) greeting, assisting, and thanking donors in a positive/professional manner.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
