As an entry-level Donation Attendant / Stock Associate, you are the face of the agency to donors, accepting, loading, unloading, sorting, and pricing donations. You provide assistance to donors with a gracious and positive attitude, offering coupons, receipts, and smiles. You efficiently sort clothing and household goods, test electronics, and keep accurate records. You promote the development of service participants and are committed to safety, keeping your work area clean and operating equipment safely. You play a vital role in supporting the mission of serving the community.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load donations for clothing, furniture, and other household goods
• Ability to work outside in whatever Mother Nature throws our way
• Customer service skills
• A can-do, get-it-done person
• Good communication skills
• Enjoy working with people
• Able to work efficiently with an awareness of what is going on around you

Responsibilities

• Accept, load, unload, sort, and price donations
• Provide assistance to our donors
• Offer donors a coupon, a receipt, and a smile
• Sort clothing and household goods into categories
• Test electronics to ensure they work properly before pricing them
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of donations
• Help promote the development of service participants
• Be committed to safety and help keep your work area clean and void of hazards
• Operate equipment with attention to safe operating procedures
