  • Regularly required to walk.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Will constantly lift 1-15 pounds, frequently lift 15-20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Responsibilities

  • Accepting donations from donors and issues receipts as necessary
  • Keeps donation indoor/outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of debris
  • Training on Gaylord and pallet use will be provided
  • Assists in the unloading/loading of trucks and/or trailers
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills: greets donors, carries donations from donor’s vehicle to the center, and provides donor receipt if requested.
  • Exercises good judgement in determining which donations are acceptable while communicating that decision to the customer effectively and politely as possible.
  • Maintains all required records and delivers them to supervisors or drivers as scheduled.
