The position involves planning and coordinating work activities, operating equipment requiring specialized knowledge, and estimating the speed of moving objects for safe vehicle operation. Responsibilities include organizing items onto skids, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in completing customer orders, assisting with finished goods inventory, performing aisle audits, operating equipment safely, maintaining a clean working environment, marking and distributing customer orders for timely ground transport, packing orders using appropriate materials, reconciling UPS WorldShip reports at the end of shifts, and ensuring hazardous material shipments are correctly packed, marked, and documented. The role also involves operating various computer systems, including desktop and UPS WorldShip. Additionally, the employee must be able to perform the essential duties outlined in the Order Selector Job Description or other duties assigned by the Distribution Manager.
