Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Must be able to be on feet for the duration of your shift.
Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Weekday afternoon and Weekend morning/afternoon availability preferred.

Responsibilities

Take dogs on individual walks following assigned schedules.
Ensure dogs are safely leashed and harnessed.
Provide exercise, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement.
Monitor for signs of stress, illness, or injury and report any unusual findings.
Clean up after dogs.
Send care journals to clients after each visit.
Feed cats according to instructions and dietary needs.
Clean litter boxes and refresh water daily.
Offer companionship, playtime, and enrichment to cats.
Administer medications if required (training provided).
Observe and report any changes in cat behavior or health.
Send care journals to clients after each visit for cat care.
Check in at the center at the beginning and end of shifts.
Help maintain the scheduling app.
Answer client messages professionally and warmly.
Process invoicing and basic administrative tasks.
Assist around the center as needed.
Follow all safety and pet-handling protocols.
Communicate clearly with management and pet parents.
Maintain accurate care notes and visit reports.
Represent the business in a friendly, professional, pet-loving manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
