About The Position
Paws Around Motown is a premium pet care company in Oakland County seeking experienced individuals to turn their passion for animals into a career. We treat pet care as a profession and are hiring several experienced people to join our team. We emphasize quality over volume, ensuring no visit is rushed, and maintain high, documented standards that are taught properly. Our company culture fosters internal leadership, with many of our Team Leaders and Managers having advanced from field positions. We offer W2 employment, not contractor status, and are not an app-based service.
Requirements
- Reliability that never wavers
- Real fluency with animal body language and behavior
- Initiative — you spot the problem and solve it
- Clear, professional communication with clients and the team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Dog walking, adventure outings, and pet sitting across species
- Pet taxis, overnights, and in-home care
- Pet Wellness Checks and detailed service reports
- HQ support between visit blocks
- Community outreach as we grow
