About The Position
H.A.L.O. No-Kill Animal Rescue is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and passionate Dog Quarantine Caretaker. This part-time role focuses on caring for both small and large dogs in the quarantine area, requiring attention to detail and consistency. There are opportunities for cross-training in other areas of the rescue for additional shifts.
Requirements
- Physically capable of bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, loud, and sometimes messy environment
- Strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to animal welfare
- Not afraid to get hands dirty
Responsibilities
- Keeping kennels clean, sanitary, and comfortable
- Preparing and feeding meals with care and consistency
- Monitoring dogs and ensuring they feel safe, secure, and supported during their stay
