This position will have dual reporting through the Children's and Women's Hospital Dog Coordinator (as primary supervisor) and the appropriate clinical manager based on licensing/credentials. The handler will provide psychosocial support aimed at reducing the stress and anxiety of hospitalization alongside a trained hospital dog. This role is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of interventions to support the emotional well-being of patients, their families, and staff.
