About The Position

Camp Bow Wow Morris, located in Morristown, New Jersey, is looking to hire a Camp Counselor who will be in charge of supervising and ensuring the safety of customers’ dogs. Prior professional dog experience is preferred. This role involves monitoring the safety, cleanliness, and happiness of doggie day campers, assisting with staff training, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility. The ideal candidate must love dogs, prioritize dog safety, and be comfortable with extensive cleaning duties, including scooping poop and cleaning dogs. Constant monitoring of pups in play yards and delegating duties to ensure all tasks are completed in the best interest of the animals are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Must be able to stand for a minimum of 3-4 hours on feet.
Must love dogs.
Must put dog safety at a premium.
Team player willing to adapt to changes on the fly.
Must be punctual, hard working, upbeat, and attentive.
Previous dog care experience/ownership.
Consistent, non-seasonal availability is preferred.
Willingness to learn and grow with us.
Must be open to constructive feedback.
Must do whatever it takes to make the customer experience a positive one.
