Dog Groomer
About The Position
Feeders Pet Supply is hiring a Dog Groomer to provide grooming and care for customers’ dogs. The groomer ensures each dog’s well-being and safety, communicates with clients to understand the requested services, greets dogs and identifies any special needs, and adapts grooming methods to each dog. Standard services include bathing, ear and teeth cleaning, nail trimming, anal gland expressing, and hair trimming. The role offers commission earnings and tips, with earnings based on 100% of the commission earned plus tips. Positions are available part-time or full-time, with flexible scheduling and daytime and nighttime shifts seven days a week.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of pet grooming experience, or willingness to be trained as the right candidate.
- Animal care education from a reputable academy or grooming program.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
- Experience working with retail POS systems and inventory systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to communicate well with customers.
- Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and motivated to perform well.
