Requirements

Two to four years of professional grooming experience required
Strong knowledge of individual breed standards and breed cuts
Use of proper scissoring techniques
Experience in customer service and sales
Inspiration to connect with clients

Responsibilities

Clean and style pet hair by washing, shampooing, and conditioning each dog
Shave, trim, and style pet hair according to the owner's preferences in a safe manner for the pet and the groomer
Maintain overall pet hygiene by clipping nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears
Maintain a clean workstation by sanitizing and sweeping before the arrival of every pet and at the end of every workday
Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices for their pets
